Bacolod halts face-to-face classes over Omicron

Bacolod City has halted face-to-face classes amid concerns over the Omicron variant.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia postponed the decision to resume limited in-person classes at Alangilan National High School, which was set to start on December 6.

The city also deferred decisions regarding applications from a college and university to conduct face-to-face classes for allied medical courses.

This decision came after the first Omicron case was reported in Western Visayas on January 3.
