Bacolod warns against mixing Covid-19 vaccines

The Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center-Task Force warned residents against mixing different brands of Covid-19 vaccines due to lack of scientific evidence supporting its safety.

As of August 2, Bacolod received a total of 193,850 doses from the national government, including Sinovac’s CoronaVac, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen, and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia expressed gratitude to Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. for prioritizing Bacolod in vaccine allocation, which will help accelerate their vaccination program.
