Philippines receives 2.5M more Sinovac doses

The Philippines received an additional one million doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, July 30.

This batch arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 via Cebu Pacific Flight 5J723 and is part of the 26 million Sinovac doses purchased by the government.

On Thursday, July 29, another one million and a half doses of Sinovac vaccines also arrived at the same airport terminal via Cebu Pacific flight 5J671.

The Department of Health expects three million Moderna vaccine doses and one million Sinopharm doses to arrive within the week, with an additional donation of 415,000 AstraZeneca doses from the UK expected on August 2.
