Philippines needs 25M monthly vaccine deliveries

The Philippines needs to scale up monthly deliveries of 25 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to meet the demand for its inoculation program.

Vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. stated that 42.6 million more doses are needed to cover the projected vaccine-eligible population of 70.85 million Filipinos.

Galvez admitted that the country may not be able to meet this demand until October and urged local government units for patience.
