Philippines administers record 702K COVID-19 jabs

The Philippines administered a record-breaking 702,013 doses of COVID-19 vaccines on August 3.

This marks the highest single-day output since the start of the vaccination program and surpasses the government's goal of administering 500,000 doses daily.

As of Wednesday, over 10 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, a significant milestone in the country’s vaccine drive.

The Philippines has administered a total of 21.88 million doses since the start of its vaccination campaign in March.

Healthcare workers, local government units, and private sector collaboration have contributed to this achievement.
