Alas Pilipinas fourth after losing to Indonesia

Alas Pilipinas narrowly defeated Cambodia but ultimately fell short of securing a medal at the Candon City Arena on Saturday after losing to Indonesia in their final match on Sunday.

The Philippine team won against Cambodia with scores of 25-21, 25-27, 32-30, 23-25, and 15-8 but lost to Indonesia with scores of 19-25, 17-25, 17-25, dropping them to fourth place.

Jade Disquitado played a crucial role in the victory over Cambodia by scoring eight of the team's last 14 points in Set 3 and leading all scorers with 24 points overall.

Despite challenges, Coach Angiolino Frigoni expressed optimism about his young squad's performance and their chance to bounce back in the next SEA V.League set for July 16-20 in Jakarta.
