MRT-3 deploys 15 trains after driver tests

The MRT-3 increased its train deployment to 15 amid limited operations due to mass coronavirus testing of workers.

Most MRT-3 drivers have tested negative for COVID-19 and are allowed to work; those who tested positive, await test results, or show symptoms are barred from entering premises.

As of Tuesday, the DOTr reported that 787 railway personnel across LRT-1, LRT-2, MRT-3, and PNR have tested positive for COVID-19 with a positivity rate of 16.22 percent based on data collected on Monday.
