Philippines reports over 884K COVID cases

The Philippines reported 8,571 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, pushing the total to over 884K.

Active cases increased to 165,534 with 96.9% mild, 1.8% asymptomatic, 0.5% severe, and 0.4% critical.

Total recoveries climbed to 703,963 after 400 new patients recovered, while the death toll rose to 15,286 with 137 new fatalities.

Data showed that 66% of ICU beds are in use and 47% of mechanical ventilators are occupied.
