OWWA to repatriate remains of OFWs who died from COVID-19 in KSA

OWWA chief Hans Leo Cacdac announced plans to repatriate the remains of Filipino workers who died from COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia.

Cacdac assured that the process is being coordinated with Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III and follows IATF guidelines.

Three OFWs in Riyadh are reportedly suffering from COVID-19 due to poor living conditions and have requested help from the government.

The three workers were placed in a room without air conditioning with another infected worker, leading them to seek assistance through OWWA.
