San Juan targets full vaccination by August

San Juan City aims to fully vaccinate its entire target population by August with over 80% already receiving at least one dose.

As of June 29, around 70,269 out of the city's 85,400 target population have been vaccinated, with Mayor Francis Zamora targeting full vaccination coverage by mid-July.

San Juan has opened a third mega vaccination center in Greenhills Shopping Center to increase its daily capacity from around 3,000 to up to 5,000 doses.

The city began using Moderna vaccine doses on June 30, becoming the first local government unit to do so with an initial supply of 1,800 doses for 900 people.
