Iloilo City ready for up to 15K daily vaccinations

Iloilo City is ready to administer up to 15,000 coronavirus vaccines daily once it receives a steady supply from the national government.

The city has been administering around 7,500 doses per day and received an additional 50,000 Sinovac vaccine doses on June 30.

Apart from medical workers, police, city hall employees, and village officials are also assisting in the inoculation program.

The national government responded positively to Iloilo City's appeal for more vaccines amid a surge in coronavirus cases, delivering an additional 50,000 Sinovac doses on June 30.
