2 repatriated OFWs test positive for coronavirus

Two repatriated OFWs from Negros Occidental have tested positive for coronavirus.

The two men, aged 38 and 50, were part of a group of 35 repatriated workers who arrived in Escalante City on April 14 via Cebu.

Both are asymptomatic and under strict isolation at the provincial government’s quarantine facility in EB Magalona.

The 38-year-old man worked in the Netherlands, while the 50-year-old worked in Finland.

This increases the total number of confirmed cases in Negros Occidental to four.
