Chinese nationals give free masks in Manila, Makati

Chinese nationals have been distributing free face masks in Manila and Makati amid concerns over the novel coronavirus outbreak.

On Saturday, a group was seen giving away masks in Sta. Cruz, Manila, while earlier in the week, two individuals were spotted doing the same along Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

Makati resident Precious Ann Patiño shared photos of the distribution and encouraged people to accept the offer as an act of goodwill amid prejudice faced by Chinese tourists due to the outbreak originating in Wuhan.
