Four Chinese tourists from Fujian under quarantine in Sarangani

Four Chinese tourists from Fujian province in China are under quarantine at an isolation facility in Sarangani province after visiting a beach resort in Glan town.

Health personnel transferred the group, including one minor, to the Regional Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday where they will remain until February 13.

The tourists entered the country through Clark International Airport on January 30 and stayed in Davao City for three days before going to Glan.

Despite no signs of symptoms related to the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), health officials are closely monitoring them as a precautionary measure.
