Bicol records 16 cases, 9 recoveries; first death reported

As of Thursday, April 9, Bicol recorded a total of 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases with nine recoveries.

The region reported two new cases: a 60-year-old male from Albay and a 59-year-old female from Camarines Sur.

One patient previously under investigation has now tested negative for the virus, bringing the number of recoveries to eight.

There are currently 141 persons under investigation in Bicol, with 25 awaiting test results and 112 testing negative.

The region also recorded its first COVID-19 fatality on April 3, a patient from Naga City who died before receiving confirmatory test results.
