DOH reports 42 new COVID-19 cases in Quezon City, total now 625

As of Tuesday, April 7, the DOH reported 42 new COVID-19 cases in Quezon City, bringing the total to 625.

Of these, 563 have complete addresses and 550 cases have been validated by local health units.

There were no new deaths but at least 11 recoveries were added, increasing the recovery count to 26.

Two more barangays—Commonwealth and Pansol—were placed under Extreme Enhanced Community Quarantine (EECQ), raising the total to 31.

On Monday, April 6, DOH reported 83 new cases in Quezon City, bringing the total to 583 with 458 having complete addresses and 469 validated by local health units.

The sudden increase was attributed to improved data access from the DOH; however, validation is still ongoing.

As of Saturday, April 4, Quezon City had reached a total of 500 confirmed cases, with 336 validated locally and no new deaths reported.
