Iloilo allocates PHP6M for veggie distribution amid quarantine

The Iloilo provincial government has allocated PHP6 million for distributing vegetables to residents during the enhanced community quarantine.

Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. stated that the vegetables, sourced from local farmers, aim to support both residents and farmers by boosting their economy and health.

Sara town in northern Iloilo is already distributing fresh vegetables to 15,278 households along with rice, canned goods, and noodles to enhance residents' resistance against COVID-19 and help local farmers.
