DSWD: 44% of Davao Region families receive PHP6K SAP aid

As of Monday, April 27, about 44% of low-income families in the Davao Region have received PHP6,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

A total of 421,179 family beneficiaries, including 253,992 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program recipients and 167,187 non-Pantawid beneficiaries, have received PHP2.1 billion in aid.

By Friday, April 24, approximately 10,643 families in Davao Oriental had already benefited from the SAP, representing around 16% of the total 66,305 non-Pantawid beneficiaries affected by ECQ measures.

Tarragona municipality was the first to complete payouts with 1,710 family beneficiaries receiving aid, while other municipalities like Boston and Baganga are also making progress in distributing SAP assistance.
