4Ps beneficiaries share relief packs with others in Cebu, Pangasinan

Beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Cebu and Pangasinan are organizing relief drives to help others affected by coronavirus quarantine measures.

In Cebu, beneficiaries distributed food items like rice, coffee, sardines, mung beans, and body soap to non-4Ps residents in two barangays.

In Pangasinan, 4Ps recipients pooled their emergency cash subsidies to provide relief packs worth PHP150 to PHP200 to around 30 families.

The relief packs include rice, powdered milk, sugar, biscuits, fish paste or sauce, coffee, sardines, shampoo, toothpaste, laundry soap, and bath soap.

Some barangay officials and teachers also contributed cash, live chickens, and fresh vegetables for distribution.

4Ps beneficiaries plan to continue distributing aid next month with their May emergency subsidy.
