3 weather systems to bring rains in PHL

Three weather systems are expected to bring rains across various parts of the Philippines on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

The northeasterly surface wind flow will cause rains in Batanes.

A shear line will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms to the Babuyan Islands.

Caraga and Northern Mindanao will also experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rains in these affected areas could lead to flash floods or landslides.

Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are anticipated in the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Davao Region, with the possibility of severe thunderstorms causing flash floods or landslides.

The remainder of the country will have isolated rain showers from localized thunderstorms.

Strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough seas are expected in extreme northern Luzon.

Central Luzon and the rest of northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
