Northeast monsoon, easterlies to bring rains across PH

The northeast monsoon and the easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies and rains across the Philippines.

Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Caraga and Davao Region may see cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The easterlies may also cause flash floods or landslides in affected areas.

Strong winds with rough waters are expected in Extreme Northern Luzon, while moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas are forecast for the rest of Northern Luzon.

The rest of the country may have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
