Eastern Visayas, Caraga to experience scattered rains due to easterlies and amihan

The easterlies and the northeast monsoon are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga del Norte, and Palawan.

Moderate to heavy rains in these areas may lead to flash floods or landslides.

The northeast monsoon will also cause cloudy skies with rains in Batanes and the Babuyan Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Strong winds and rough seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon, while the rest of Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.

The rest of the archipelago will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
