Luzon, Mindanao to experience rains due to monsoon and easterlies

Parts of Luzon and Mindanao are expected to experience cloudy skies and rain showers on Friday, November 22, due to the northeast monsoon and easterlies.

Caraga, Davao Region, and Southern Leyte may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains from the easterlies.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have light rains due to the northeast monsoon, with no significant impact expected.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong northeasterly winds, with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate easterly to northeasterly winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
