Shearline, ITCZ, and amihan to bring rains nationwide

Most of the Philippines will experience rains on Monday due to the shearline, the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), and the northeast monsoon, according to PAGASA.

Scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected in Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, and Bicol Region due to the shearline.

Eastern and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, Caraga, and Davao Region will also experience similar conditions due to the ITCZ.

The northeast monsoon will bring rains to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in these areas due to moderate to heavy rains.

Isolated rain showers are anticipated in the rest of Mindanao and Luzon, as well as in the rest of the Visayas.

Strong winds and rough seas are expected in Northern and Central Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are forecast for the rest of Luzon and the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao.
