Shear line to bring scattered rains over Caraga, Davao Region

The shear line, the tail end of a frontal system, is expected to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Caraga and the Davao Region on Monday, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon is also affecting Luzon and Visayas, causing cloudy skies and light rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and northern Quezon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and the rest of Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, and severe thunderstorms could also trigger flash floods or landslides.

Coastal waters along the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas, and eastern Mindanao will be moderate to rough, with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

Coastal waters in the rest of Mindanao are expected to be slight to moderate.
