Shear line to bring rains over Eastern Visayas, Bicol

The shear line is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Masbate, with PAGASA warning of potential flooding and landslides.

Northern Mindanao, Dinagat Islands, and the rest of Visayas and Bicol Region will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line, with possible flash floods or landslides.

The northeast monsoon will bring light rains to Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and the northern part of Quezon, including Polillo Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

No new low pressure area (LPA) was spotted inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

A gale warning was issued due to strong to gale-force winds associated with the northeast monsoon, bringing rough to very rough seas over the seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
