Shear line to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Caraga, Bicol

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Visayas, Caraga, and Bicol Region due to the shear line affecting the eastern section of the Visayas.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.

Eastern Visayas, Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Negros Occidental may experience moderate to heavy, with at times intense rains in the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate, with at times heavy rains, will be experienced over the rest of the Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Misamis Occidental.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon, including the Polillo Islands, will have light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have isolated light rains, while the rest of Mindanao may experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds are expected in Luzon and Visayas, with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The eastern section of Mindanao will also experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
