Shear line to bring rain, possible floods to Bicol, Visayas, Mindanao

The shear line will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain over Bicol, Caraga, northern Mindanao, and parts of the Visayas on Friday, with a possibility of flooding and landslides.

The northeast monsoon will affect Luzon, causing cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Aurora, and Quezon, with no significant impact expected.

Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The rest of Mindanao can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, and the potential for flash floods or landslides during severe conditions.

Moderate to strong winds blowing northeastward are expected over Luzon, Visayas, and eastern Mindanao, with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate northeasterly winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
