Shear line to bring scattered rains over Bicol, E. Visayas; monsoon affects N. Luzon

The shear line is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, Laguna, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

PAGASA warned that residents in affected areas should prepare for possible flooding or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

The Northeast Monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, Cordillera Administrative Region, and CALABARZON.

Partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, according to PAGASA.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will be experienced over Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will prevail over the rest of Mindanao.
