Shear line, ITCZ to bring rains to Luzon, Mindanao

The shear line will affect the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan and Mindanao, according to PAGASA.

Cagayan Valley, Palawan, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides in these areas.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Severe thunderstorms in these areas could also lead to flash floods or landslides.

Northern and Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
