Shear line, ITCZ to bring rains nationwide

The shear line is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Provinces, and Catanduanes.

Affected residents are advised to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rain.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring similar conditions to Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

Flash floods or landslides are also possible in these areas during moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila, and the rest of Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ or localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal conditions will prevail over Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced in the Visayas and Mindanao.
