Shear line, ITCZ to bring scattered rains over PH

The shear line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over parts of the Philippines.

Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and the Negros Island Region will experience these conditions due to the ITCZ.

Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, and the Bicol Region will also see scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the shear line.

The Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan.

The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized systems.

Additionally, strong winds with rough coastal waters may be felt over Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon.
