Shear Line, ITCZ, Amihan to bring rains in parts of PH

The Shear Line continues to affect Southern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and Mimaropa.

The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is causing scattered rains and thunderstorms in SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Davao Occidental, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan is bringing cloudy skies with rains to Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Light rains or drizzles are expected in the Ilocos Region and other parts of Central Luzon due to the Amihan, with no significant impact.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains brought by these weather systems.

The rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
