Pagasa forecasts rains over most of PH due to monsoon, shear line, ITCZ

Pagasa forecasts continued cloudy skies and rain across most of the Philippines on Saturday due to the northeast monsoon, shear line, and ITCZ.

The northeast monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon may experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

SOCCSKSARGEN, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan can anticipate cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

The rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Strong to rough seas are expected over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, while the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
