Shear line, amihan to bring rains over parts of PH

Eastern Visayas and Luzon will experience scattered rains on Tuesday due to the effects of the shear line and the northeast monsoon.

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, with PAGASA warning of potential flash floods or landslides.

Cagayan Valley and Quezon are expected to have light rains from the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The rest of Mindanao may experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized weather patterns.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon, the Visayas, and the northern section of Mindanao.

Rough to very rough seas are forecast over the seaboards of Northern Luzon, the eastern seaboard of Central Luzon, the eastern and western seaboards of Southern Luzon, and the eastern seaboard of the Visayas, making sea travel risky for small seacrafts.
