Amihan, shear line to bring rains across PH on Jan 27

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and shear line will bring rains to several parts of the Philippines on January 27.

Batanes and Cagayan can expect cloudy skies with rains from the Amihan.

The Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Palawan and Visayas.

Easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.

These moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides.

Winds will be strong to gale while coastal waters will be rough to very rough in Northern Luzon, and moderate to strong with moderate to rough conditions in Central Luzon.

Winds will be light to moderate while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
