Amihan and easterlies to bring rains across PH

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and easterlies are expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains across various parts of the Philippines on Sunday, January 26.

Caraga, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Southern Leyte, and Eastern Samar may experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with warnings of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Batanes can expect cloudy skies with light rains due to the Amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may anticipate partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the Amihan.

The remaining areas of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with potential for flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters are expected to be moderate in Northern and Central Luzon, and slight to moderate in other parts of the country.
