Amihan and easterlies bring rain to eastern PH

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and the easterlies will continue to affect the eastern parts of the country with cloudy and rainy weather in the next 24 hours.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will persist over Northern Samar and Eastern Samar due to the shear line.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan.

Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

These moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides.

The Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be observed throughout the rest of the country due to the easterlies.
