BI looking into air, sea travel manifests to find out how Alice Guo fled PH
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is currently examining air and sea travel manifests to ascertain how dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and her companions exited the country.
BI Deputy Spokesperson Melvin Mabulac stated that manual checks of manifests for the entire month of July nationwide have not yet identified Alice Guo's name, and she was also not found in their system.

Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval clarified that the BI only received information regarding Guo's departure this month, specifically the week before last.
This statement follows Senator Sherwin Gatchalian's suspicion that some government agencies might have conspired to hide Guo's escape despite an Immigration Lookout Bulletin (ILBO) being active.
An ILBO requires Immigration officers to alert authorities if individuals on the bulletin attempt to leave the country.
Sandoval also mentioned that Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco was in Vietnam for an ASEAN meeting when he was informed that Guo's group had secured tickets to return to the Philippines from Singapore.
