Northeast Monsoon, Shear Line to bring rains over Luzon

Northern and Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies and rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, while the eastern part of Southern Luzon will be affected by the Shear Line, according to PAGASA.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora can expect cloudy conditions with moderate to heavy rains, potentially causing flash floods or landslides.

Quezon will see cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms from the Shear Line, with similar risks of flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the Northeast Monsoon, which are not expected to have significant impact.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized weather patterns, with risks during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon is forecast to have strong northeasterly winds and rough coastal waters.

Moderate to strong northeasterly winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas.
