Amihan, shear line to bring rains over Luzon

Four weather systems, including the northeast monsoon (Amihan) and shear line, are expected to bring rains over Luzon.

The Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

The shear line will affect Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes with cloudy skies, scattered rains, and isolated thunderstorms.

These conditions may result in moderate to at times heavy rains that could trigger flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, which may also trigger flash floods or landslides.

Northern Luzon will observe strong wind conditions and rough coastal water conditions, while moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in the eastern sections of Central, Southern Luzon, and Visayas.
