Amihan, shear line to bring rains over Luzon Monday

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and shear line will bring rains over parts of Luzon on Monday, according to PAGASA.

Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region can expect cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan, with potential for flash floods or landslides.

Eastern sections of Central Luzon and Southern Luzon, including Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Quezon, and Aurora, will experience scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line, also posing risks of flash floods or landslides.

The Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can anticipate partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized thunderstorms.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region will be affected by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), bringing moderate to heavy rains that may result in flash floods or landslides.
