AFP receives donation of COVID-19 test kits, PPEs
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) received a donation of 23,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits and personal protective equipment (PPEs) from businessman Kim Wong on April 1.
National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon, Jr. accepted the donation at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
The donated items will be distributed to the Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, and V. Luna General Hospital to aid frontliners and patients.
Kim Wong has also made significant donations of similar medical supplies and relief goods to various local government units across the Philippines.
