PH receives medical equipment, test kits from Temasek Foundation, others

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. announced that several groups will donate medical equipment and at least 40,000 coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) test kits to the Philippines.

The Temasek Foundation in Singapore will donate 40,000 test kits and two ventilators, while Filinvest City Foundation will provide four ventilators.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is adding to its earlier donation by sending a mobile X-ray machine and extra RT-PCR solutions, bringing its total contribution to 155,176 euros (about PHP8.91 million).

Previously, the Philippines received 3,000 test kits and a thermal cycler from Singapore, 100,000 test kits from China, and allocated over PHP139 million from the United States for the Department of Health.
