PAF transports 75,766 lbs of PPE nationwide

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) has transported 75,766 pounds of personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies nationwide as of March 27.

On Saturday, a PAF NC-212i aircraft delivered 31 boxes of donated PPE from Cebu to Iloilo.

The donated supplies came from the Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas and are intended for the Western Visayas Medical Center.

The PAF is utilizing its NC-212i, C-295, and C-130 transport aircraft for these missions, which also include transporting Covid-19 test kits and specimens.

These efforts are in support of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and aim to improve the protection of front-liners.
