Shear line, ITCZ, Amihan to bring rains across PH

The shear line, intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), and northeast monsoon are expected to bring rains across the Philippines.

The Visayas, Bicol Region, and Mimaropa will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Moderate to heavy, sometimes intense, rainfall is expected in the Bicol Region, with Samar provinces warned of potential flooding and landslides.

The ITCZ will bring similar weather conditions to the Davao Region and Soccsksargen.

The northeast monsoon will bring cool weather, overcast skies, and rains to Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possibly isolated rain showers from the northeast monsoon.

Strong to gale force winds and rough to very rough seas are predicted for Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
