3 weather systems to bring rains nationwide

Three weather systems, the shear line, easterlies, and the Northeast Monsoon (amihan), are expected to bring rains across various parts of the Philippines.

The shear line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in the Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The amihan will bring cloudy skies and rain to the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley, with isolated light rains anticipated over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.

PAGASA warned of flash floods and landslides in areas affected by the shear line, easterlies, and northeast monsoon, particularly during moderate to heavy rainfall.

The rest of the country may experience fair weather, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, influenced by the easterlies.
