Zamboanga City's active COVID-19 cases rise to 78

As of Friday, July 22, Zamboanga City's active cases of COVID-19 increased to 78 from 64 on Monday.

The majority of the active cases are asymptomatic (48.7%), followed by mild symptoms (32.1%).

Active cases are spread across 29 barangays with the highest number in Tetuan and Tumaga, which had seven and six cases respectively as of Wednesday.

Since March 2020, Zamboanga City has recorded 29,411 confirmed cases, 28,076 recoveries, and 1,257 deaths.

The city government is ramping up vaccine administration to provide better protection against the virus.
