Zamboanga City administers over 1M COVID-19 vaccine doses

As of January 5, Zamboanga City has administered over one million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since March 2021.

Out of the total vaccinated individuals, 602,812 have received their first dose while 495,720 have received their second dose.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar urged city government employees to get vaccinated during a virtual flag ceremony on January 3.

Salazar highlighted that 70.4% of the target eligible population are fully vaccinated and 86.71% have received at least one dose.
