Zamboanga del Norte placed under general community quarantine

Zamboanga del Norte Governor Roberto Uy placed the entire province under a general community quarantine starting March 17 until April 14.

The order restricts entry and exit of passengers through air, land, and sea transportation except for essential goods and supplies.

Health workers, authorized public officials, and those traveling for medical or humanitarian reasons are allowed to move with proof of employment.

Travelers from the National Capital Region, Dumaguete City, Cagayan de Oro City, and other places within the Philippines and countries with confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered persons under monitoring (PUM) and must undergo mandatory self-quarantine.
